thanks for the articles, Alyse. I especially liked how Anthony Minghella characterized Jude in one of the articles as having charisma and cruelty – I can’t remember it verbatim. I also didn’t know that his parents had been acting teachers.

I don’t think they were acting teachers. I think they are now but Jude’s mum was an English teacher and Jude’s dad was a principal (?). Correct me if I’m wrong.

Thank you for the articles. I particularly liked the interviews. Jude comes across a responsible, unbiased, cooperative person and artist, a lovely person, that is to say. He really loves what he does and every character he plays, that’s maybe the reason why he never fails in depicting them so well and making us love and be sympathetic to them too.

Thanks for posting all of these. A lot of them I’d seen, but many were brand new, enlightening & a wonderful reminder of what it is about JL besides his remarkable talent that’s drawn me in.
